ICSD United Planet Faith & Science Initiative

The United Planet Faith & Science Initiative (UPFSI) leverages the moral authority of religious leaders and the credibility of leading scientists to raise public awareness and actively promote environmental sustainability. In the first part of 2014, UPFSI will hold a unique web-based meeting of eminent scientists and faith leaders, which will be edited into a powerful short video. We then plan to distribute it via social media and news outlets to promote public awareness, political will, and action. We will also hold public events of these leaders speaking. The UPFSI is a project of The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development and The Interfaith Declaration on Climate Change.
