Greening our Church in Los Angeles
Rev. Dr. Pat Langlois, Senior Pastor of MCC United Church of Christ in the Valley, discusses her congregation’s environmental initiatives in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. Across the city, faith communities are building active green teams that are helping lead local responses to climate change, sustainability, and environmental justice.
Through community action, education, advocacy, and efforts to reduce pollution, these congregations are demonstrating how spiritual communities can contribute meaningfully to ecological responsibility. Their growing involvement reflects the potential for a larger faith-based movement capable of addressing the urgency and scale of today’s climate challenges.
