Científicos y líderes religiosos se reúnen para colaborar con el medio ambiente
El ISSREC que reúne a científicos y líderes religiosos de 15 países y 8 confesiones religiosas, se ha inaugurado hoy, en Huesca, para dialogar sobre cómo pueden colaborar en la conservación del medio ambiente.

El presidente de la Pontificia Academia de las Ciencias del Vaticano, el arzobispo Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, ha indicado que el diálogo interreligioso debe "pasar a la acción común para salvar el medio ambiente". Así lo ha precisado durante la inauguración este lunes del Seminario Internacional de Ciencia y Religiones por el Medio Ambiente (ISSREC) que se celebra en el Santuario de Torreciudad (Huesca).

Laudato Si’ first anniversary: interfaith impact
Among the interreligious organisations that have taken the Pope’s call to heart is the Jerusalem based Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development which works to promote peace and environmental awareness through education and action. The founder and director of the Centre, Rabbi Yonatan Neril, is in Rome this week meeting with Vatican officials to see how the papal document is being incorporated into seminary formation programmes.
