Rhode Island church uses solar to promote environmental stewardship
Rhode Island’s faith communities are beginning to embrace renewable energy. Across the United States, houses of worship are using solar panels as a way to lower energy costs and make a statement about stewardship. It’s one of the most tangible ways religious institutions practice “creation care,” a spiritual effort to mitigate environmental destruction, according to ICSD's director.
