Manya Kagan – Fourteen Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women participated in a Women’s Faith Ecology Seminar in Jerusalem, along with panelists of the three faiths. The participants were quite diverse within each religion, and geographically– Bedouin women, women from East Jerusalem and Arab villages near Jerusalem, Protestants and Catholics, and Orthodox, liberal, and secular Jews.

ICSD’s director, Rabbi Yonatan Neril, had the honor of participating in the Symposium in Istanbul and speaking as the Jewish representative in the interfaith session of the event.

Hannah Kober – On June 4th, 2015, I joined over 60 residents from Israel, and the West Bank for the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development’s Interfaith Eco Slam, held in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. The diversity of voices present and the multiple social and political angles that were mentioned made it particularly unique.

Joy Auciello – Since 2011, the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development (ICSD) has organized over 15 interfaith panels, which have reached about 1,000 people. On February 23, 2015 ICSD hosted an interfaith panel for a group of 40 Dutch students on a Holy Land church tour at the Commodore Hotel in East Jerusalem.
